    Is This Normal Behavior?

Hi y’all! I got my first ball python last Tuesday. He’s about a year old I believe. I’ve noticed that, at night, he’s always climbing around and looks like he’s searching for something on the screen lid. He hides nearly all day, which I understand is normal. Right now the ambient temp is 78 degrees with 60% humidity. I have a moonlight bulb to raise the overall temp with a UTH set at 85-90 degrees. He hasn’t eaten anything yet, but I think the last time he ate was about 2 weeks ago. Is his behavior normal? Or is he just an active snake?
