I'm planning to take him to the vet just in case, but I'm posting here to check bc I'm very paranoid about this stuff and would rather not go if paranoia's all it is (it's a pretty long drive there). My corn snake has been leaving his mouth very slightly open on one side, not permanently, he closes it again for a while before starting back up again. My first thought was RI, but he's not showing any other signs of it- no stargazing, mucus, bubbles, the mouth is only a little open on the one side and he's definitely not lethargic. He has been refusing food for the past six weeks, but I've been assuming that was caused by breeding season. He shed roughly two months ago (he's five).

His basking spot is 32C, hot side ambient around 22C. Any idea if this is something to worry about, and how I can help him?
