I've read many many articles on how to get rid of mites. But what I'm seeing is how to deal with it when there are few snakes infected.

Just yesterday I was doing my routine check and noticed mites on one of my brand new hatchlings. I then started checking closer and noticed them on most snakes in the rack, if not the entire room.

We have three rooms with snakes in them, we previously had a mite infestation in a different room, and got rid of them, but it took a lot of time because there were 50+ snakes and we couldn't figure out a good system. Once we finally got rid of them after using mite spray and other recommendations, snakes started to die after the mites were gonr, and we're still losing snakes randomly (possibly from the chemicals or a disease being spread?)

A few months have gone by though, and now we've noticed mites in a different room with our newer snakes. I would love suggestions with how to deal with mites in a large quantity. There are roughly 100 snakes in this room.

Looking for suggestions on a plan of attack. Any advice is welcome.

Thank you.
