live feeding video..and someone is a little jerk!
Smeagol can be a little jerk! (i still love him)
Every night he sits by the door, begging for bugs.
I try to ignore him but I feel those intense little eyes burning holes into my face !!
But no, he has to eat his Crested Gecko Diet, too. Yummy little smoothies. As is, I make 2 different ones for him.
So tonight he is back to begging. When that didn't work, he started showing off what a great hunter he is. Jumping here and there and even exploring his new leaf litter on the ground, searching for bugs.
Then back to the door, staring at me.
No Smeagol, you should eat your smoothie.
Next thing I know he is up on the ledge at his food bowl. Does he eat from it ?
Nope! He craps in it. That's what he thinks of the smoothie:

So..I give in. I'm weak. At least those are some healthy Dubia roaches, they almost eat better then I do !! Veggies, Greens, Fruit AND roach food. Then they get dusted with vitamins and Calcium, too. Smeagol approved.
So I get the Kritter Keeper and open the doors. And of course the little Gecko steps right on the elevator (my hand) to be lowered into the hunting pit. Where he proceeds to miss grabbing them every other time he tries But he is having fun with it !!

and here it is, beware, graphic live feeding !!

When he is done eating he waits on the elevator to gently lift him back up to his home.
what can I say. He's got me trained...
