Hey everyone! I am new to the forum and new to ball pythons. I've been reading up on them for about five months now and I am finally picking up my first on Sunday. She is a juvenile chocolate morph, and until I spoke with her current owner I had never heard of the chocolate gene. So, I'm curious..what characteristics set a chocolate apart from a normal, or other morphs? My eye isn't good enough yet to pick up on subtle differences. Seeing as I just want her as a pet, I really don't care what color she is, but I've always been fascinated by genetics! I can post photos once I have her if it helps. Thanks!
