So cool! The night drop temperature kicked in on my thermostat and he was DEFINATELY out cruising for rats lol. Its amazing how food-driven they are.Very neat to talk to the owner of his brother, small world! I often thought it would be neat to have a database from a clutch to see where they all end up.....almost like an ancestry site for snakes! I plan on 7 days between feedings for at least six months, and then examine his size at that point to determine if I should then bump it to two weeks (as suggested by CALM). Some of the healthiest looking adult Burms Ive seen are on 3-4 week feeding schedules once they hit the rabbit stage so I want to do that when he's full grown. The feeding info is all over the place though, some keepers feed weekly right up into the adult stage....but it seems like you can run into some weight problems if you do that. 3 weeks at adult stage seems optimal....but thats a long ways away.

I actually might start out here doing 5 day increments though because Larry was maintenance feeding him Im sure to keep a bunch of Burm hatchlings from outgrowing the rack space. Thanks for the suggestion!
