Looking to purchase my first boa after having kept ball pythons for some time. I contacted a large supplier of various snakes and they informed me their babies were "captive bred imports"


Is this the standard or is there anything wrong with purchasing an import? I prefer the normal phenotype so it is trickier to make sure they are not field caught which I don't want.. for some reason.


So is a captive bred import a good animal, or should I look for something else? Seems weird that they'd have to import them when breeding wouldn't be so difficult?
