Do bumblebees hold their bright color into adulthood?

So i was up at my reptile shop buying everyone dinner and i saw the brightest little bumblebee male BP. I was wondering from you BP pros, a bumblebee is a pastel spider, how well does that pastel hold up into adulthood. I have read pastels brown out a lot unless you mix fire or other stuff into it. Is this true? I'm lookin at you Deborah and Albert as well as I'm sure some other BP pros

The snake is 2.5 months old and I was actually tempted to buy it even though I'm not a huge BP fan. He was the most inquisitive little snake. He was out and about and wasn't shy at all lol. She's asking $200 for it.
