    BP spit up her rat

My BP was eating her rat, lunged at it and curled up; had the entire head in her mouth then spit it up. She only got down to the neck area before spitting it back up. Afterwards she kept poking her head at it. She has never done this before, as far as I know. She's five years old, and I've had her for a few months now and every feeding has gone well. I feed her every 10 days. I know her temps and humidity are good, so I'm wondering what the problem could be? Her tank is in my bedroom and we have a few other reptiles in there, but they are all out of her sight and I don't allow my cats in that room - so I don't think anything spooked her either. I'm really not sure and I've never dealt with this before.

I feed her live - but I always sit still a few feet from her tank to monitor everything. Also, this rat was no larger than the rats I've given her in the past.

She also just finished shedding if that means anything.

She's my first BP, I adopted her from my brother and I just want to make sure if there is cause for concern I address it immediately.
