Hey guys!
So I got Soul a little over a month ago from a friend who couldn't care for her anymore. Along with some albino frozen mice she had bought.
So I went to feed her, with a last mouse I had in the freezer since I've yet to be able to restock, and noticed this morning was a large mouse, while the others were medium size I believe?
But I went by the 'as big around' rule, and the mouse was certainly smaller than her largest part and thought it'd be okay.
According to how I was taught I dethawed the mouse by putting the package in hot water, then fed it to her with tongs while still warm.
She latched on as usual, I left the room and when I came back she seemed to still be struggling. I observed her for a bit then let her be.
When I came back, she had literally eaten half the mouse and left the hip and down in her habitat. I thought maybe it went down weird and she just couldn't fit it.
So I reheated the mouse and tried again. A few times actually because she wasn't latching on.
Well, eventually she latched on but shes still struggling to get it down?

Perhaps the hips are too wide for her to swallow? Should I just wait and hope she gets It down?
I plan to go and restock on mice tomorrow or the next day, so if she can't do it, will I be able to feed her one of those even though she's eaten a half already?

Sorry for all the rapid questions, I've just never seen or heard of this before... Any input would be amazing!!
