Greetings from South Africa!
As the title reads, I did not see this thread and kind jumped into posting... well... attempting to post (I had some technical difficulties with my cellular communication device).
Anyways ... delighted to meet you all and read your stories and ask for advice.... I am a noob in the herp world after all.
I too have been a lurker long before I became a member. I had to beg my arents for our years before they let me get my first snake and that was how I quenched my thirst for wanting to be a snake owner.
I'm a female accounting sciences student. I'm a general animal lover/freak (except for insects and spiders...nature can keep those).
We have 4 dogs, a cat, a tortoise, Siamese fighters, another tank with goldfish and the like, chickens, a parrot, my little bro has 2 leopard geckos and I have a normal ball python and a ghost cornsnake. Occasionally rescued wild birds and such also reside with us until recovered.

South Africa does not lack in sunshine making it perfect for me and Einstein (bp) to bake in the evening as the sun sets. Even the dog joins....
Artemis, the corn, is unfortunately not fond of such closeness.![]()
