Well,
I purchased my very first female Ball Python "Trinity" back in May of 2003 - then I bought my small male "Cypher" in June of that year and my big male "Apok" on New Years Day of 2004 ( my New Years Resolution for this year was to buy more snakes...  )
and my fourth Ball Python was my other female "Switch" who I got on July 16 of this year.

I have learned a great deal about snakes in the last year and a half...I remember how excited I was bringing home Trinity from the IRBA show when she was no more than a pup....she has put on some real growth since I saw her in her plastic cup on the breeders table. She has been a good 'Un....she is almost four feet long already and is many times the size she was when I first bought her.

I really think Ball Pythons are the ultimate snake for someone like myself - a person living in an apartment that cannot have a snake of the proportions of say a Burm or a Redtail Boa.....Ball Pythons are manageable but still have the mystique of a giant snake I think. I would even try my hand at breeding but I dont think I have the space I would need to have a breeding operation going on. Plus, I have to keep things on the down low if you know what I mean...I doubt my manager would approve of my snake hobby anyhow..

So how long have you all had your babies....
