I have a big tank for my hatchling spider BP it's a 20G. glass terrarium. So keepeng heat and humidity is an obvious issue.
I am using a zoomed monsoon and waiting for an ultrasonic mist generator. To keep a steady 60% humidity I must set the monsoon to spray too much water and ends up soaking everything because it won't evaporate fast enough.
To heat the warm side I use a 75W UVA bulb with an UTH heat mat on a dimmer and on the cold side a 35W UVB bulb
After giving it a thought I came up with the idea of pre heating the water on the monsoon tank with a heat mat or the the suplying tubes on the way to the nozzle with a heat cable. I figured out that would help the watter evaporate faster and keep the humidity high, the same time I keep the substrate dry or relatively dry.
Has anyone tryyed this before? how did you do it? it worked?
Anyone had a similar problem? how did you solved it?
I appreciate any coment, cheers!
