    Mini fridge for feeder storage?

Hi All - thanks in advance for your help!

My teenage daughter has several lizards and snakes in her room. In order to simplify things we got her a dorm refrigerator to keep the gecko food, worms, etc. in. We got one with a (we thought) freezer compartment for the pinkies and mice she is feeding the snakes. It arrived and we set it up, but in reading the directions, it says the "chiller" compartment only goes as low 30% and so is not sufficient for ice cream and popsicles. It will freeze ice - at least there is an ice tray - but now I'm worried that it won't be cold enough to safely keep the frozen rodents. Any thoughts? I'd love to have them out of the family freezer in the kitchen.

    Thanks!
