    +1 if you're keeping the car a comfortable heat you don't need to do anything extra. if it's cold where you live you might want to start the car early and let it warm up first before you load him in. I drove 6 hours from a reptile show in Monroe to my home with a bran new baby snake last year and the kid did fine. Kept him in the snake bag in the front pocket of my hoodie and he got plenty of warmth from my body heat.
