Hello!
This is my first post here to please excuse me if anything is incorrectly formatted..
I adopted my first ball python, Spyro, a few months back. The store we bought him from didn't appear to know much about reptiles at all, with each snake not even having a heat source or water bowl...
My heart broke for Spyro, the smallest of the balls, advertised as your regular cb16 for £85.. no mention of type or morph. A month after adoption, he almost passed away after a severe RI. The vet informed me he'd probably caught it in the shop and it had been incubating and not showing symptoms until then. He was put on a respirator and given a course of home injections and antibiotic tablets for a few months until it cleared. He survived to tell the tale!
Anyway, I digress... His markings are a rather light yellow in colour, so I've often wondered if he's a pastel of some sort, quite possibly the alpha pastel seen here; http://www.worldofballpythons.com/files/morphs/alpha-pastel/001.jpg ,yet I am slightly colourblind so I wondered if anybody could contribute and help me figure out whether he is a pastel or a normal!
The photos included are of how he is now, surprisingly he's put ON weight since we got him (so you can tell he was skinny when we adopted) and he still gets stuck sheds so the photos were taken shortly before helping him through with a damp towel
He's very awkward and wriggly (but I wouldn't change him for the world) hence the photos not being too great.
Thank you!...

(Oops, I now see this should have been in the 'what morph is this / is this a morph' subsection... Sorry!)
