    Loose snake in my house!!!!!

The great thing about it was it wasn't any of mine.

Sorry to disappoint everybody thinking you were about to help me snake wrangle.

Today as I started getting ready for work I walked around a corner and saw an object out of the corner of my eye recoil back as I took a step. I turned around to see a 18 inch Garter snake laying on the floor.

It was strange as my first thought was "how'd you get out?" Not that I have any snakes even close to its size. I should have been wondering how it got in. Anyways, I quickly snapped out of it, gathered it up, and placed it back outside.

Later I sent my wife a pic and asked her if it was hers. She thought Id found it outside and brought it in for a pic as a prank. She made sure to tell me "we are maxed out on snakes at the moment." She is not a snake person and when she later found out it came in to visit on its own she was not happy. I laughed as bringing it inside is something Id do. I did wake her up once because I found a bat. She was not as excited as I was then either.

I was happy about is as this is the second Garter I have found around my house in the past few months plus I had the real treat of finding a super small Hognose baby too. They have certainly picked the right house to live around. As did the bullfrog that took up residence in my Koi pond.
