I feed (or at least i try) every Sunday around 10pm. She never made a fuss if it was already dark or not so I don't think it's a big deal to her.
But I'll try to find a heat mat and probably will try again in a few weeks or in a month. The hair dryer is imo so annoying.. the rat is always "flying" in all directions..
The only one who won't be pleased with the waiting is my mom with the frozen rats in her freezer
