Last night my sister was checking on Cinnamon Roll before bed and noticed the right side of little Roll's jaw was slightly larger (swollen?) compared to the other. She was resting on a log thing I have had in there since moving her into her T8, something she seems fond of doing as of late, so it wasn't a great view but my sister called me over to double check and I saw it as well. It was only slight, but it was noticeable enough that I was worried. It was very late, though, and I had work the next day so we decided to leave her be and we could check her more thoroughly the next day.

Today I took out Cinnamon Roll and her jaw looked completely fine somehow, though I did gently pull down the right side of her lip just in case to take a peek and see if she looked red or swollen. Strangely, it was a normal pink color and I didn't notice any bubbles or anything strange, plus her tongue was flicking as usual. Her temperatures have been 78-80 (sometimes 81), her warm side sits around 92, and her humidity hovers around 52-56%; she's on aspen bedding, but she's been eating off and on (mostly off the past few weeks) so I'm unsure if that might have had anything to do with it. My first thought (besides freaking out about mouth rot) was that maybe her smooshing her head against the glass every so often might have irritated her jaw or maybe she bumped into something, but it seems strange that she looks fine the next day...I'm unsure what it could have been. She doesn't rub against the glass obsessively, only every so often, but when she does she squeezes her head between the plastic and the glass door of the T8 (such as along the top and side).

I removed the log thing just in case she snagged herself on it and I plan to sand it down so it's softer, but so far today she seems normal. Still, it's an odd thing that I've never seen happen and the only things that pop up during a swollen/puffy mouth search are related to mouth rot, so I'm wondering if I should take her into a vet even if she looks fine now. What would you guys suggest I do now and what do you think might have happened? I sadly don't have any pictures, but her mouth was fully closed then and was again when I checked up on her, it was just an odd largeness/swelling of the lower right side. I don't think I can do much else to describe it, sorry, but I hope this is enough to find out what might have caused this and what further steps I should take.

(Oh, and the other things in her T8 are: two reptile basics large hides, fake leafy vine, ceramic water dish, and a graham cracker box near the center which she is currently using as a hiding spot. I swapped the log out for an egg carton so she has something else to rest on/clutter the center of her enclosure.)

Thank you for your time and assistance! This is her first possible injury/health issue and I thought it best to seek advice just in case I might be overthinking a possibly common/unharmful thing.
