Hey All! So I just got a new ball python, 3 months old, pastel yellowbelly (so. beautiful.) my question is this: at the moment, the snake is in a see through plastic container, approximately 25x15x12 cm (for the inchy people, that's: 10"x 6"x5"). This little enclosure is inside a larger tank that I ultimately want to move him into which is 30"x 15"x 15". When can I move him into the larger tank? I'm struggling to get a proper temperature gradient inside the smaller one, and can only fit one hide (temperature gradient is now 31-29), and I can't fit a hide into the smaller side. The snake is now maybe 20% longer than the small tank. Anyway would really like to see it in the bigger tank, so please any advice on when to move is appreciated.
