    A Year Ago Today

It was a year ago today that I had to put my Boston Terrier, Stetson, to sleep. He put up quite a fight against the brain tumor, and even his vets were surprised at how hard he fought back. He wanted to live. Then the brain tumor took his ability to swallow, and when I looked into his eyes, I saw only pain. The vet said there was no more hope, so we went in for that final vet visit. His ashes are here, waiting to be buried with me when I go.

    Here he is pre-tumor:

And rolling the ice cream making ball around. The ingredients go inside, and the ball needs to be kept in motion to make the ice cream. He was pretty good at it, and would always get the first taste.

It’s been a year, but he is still missed.
