Hi all! Saw some progression threads so thought I would make one for my new female pastel born ~ 5/15/16. She was 93 grams when I brought her home and she has already eaten once with me!
First meeting her at the reptile store!
She's the first BP baby I've held that actually started exploring and didn't stay balled up!
I immediately fell in love with her goofy personality
When I transferred to her new home - she certainly has personality!
Exploring her new home - sorry for the potato quality. Planning to hot glue those wires down as soon as I'm 100% they're where I want them.
First meal at home! She was on live mouse hoppers at the reptile store, so I did that as her first meal with me. She killed it as soon as it was in the cage! (I was terrified, I have never fed a snake before -eek.)
She ate it butt first after trying to eat it flank first - a little derpy lol
Less than 24 hours after eating, she'll definitely get a larger meal next week!
As you can see, I take a TON of pictures! Am excited to share her progress with y'all because my friends/family aren't interested in snakes at all! I weighed her full at 103 grams 24 hours after that first meal, but will weigh her midway through the week as well. My best guess on her length is about 16" but I think I was way off!
Oh yeah! I need help with names! If you have any ideas, please let me know. This is the list I have so far:
