HELP! Ball Python Has Long Brownish/Red Mark Down His Belly!

My ball python is about 10 months old. He eats fine every 5 days and is very active at night. I noticed this brown line on the underside of my ball python and am really worried. I dont think it is a burn because the UTH i use is not that hot i feel like its impossible for him to get burned on it. Its more warm than hot. The line starts about 1/4 down his body leaving the top quarter completely fine and white. Could this be scale rot? I really want to know the best precautions i should take about this matter as i am very worried. Any feedback is greatly appreciated thanks!
