So, long story short i've been MIA on this website due to personal issues and i've been busy- especially with a couple rescues.
Anyways, The other day I was handling Mizuchi, one of my rescues nearly three months ago. She's supposidly about 8-9 years old and she was pretty much half way dead or more when I received her.
This was a couple(?) week(s) after I got her: (You can click on the image to view them bigger)
On 5/13/2016 She weighed 1013 grams.
This is her today:
(The calcium is not for my BP's, I use it for my bearded Dragon. It was something near to compare to)
She weighs 1404 grams today!! I know, it's not where she needs to be(She's a really long BP if you ask me, she's the longest I currently own. I haven't measured her yet, but she's probably around 5 feet long?). You can't see her ribs anymore, but you can somewhat feel them. When I pick her up, She doesn't feel so fragile anymore!!
I'm sorry, but I feel as though it's a huge accomplishment to bring an animal in such bad shape, to a decent-ish health.
