A friend of mine with quite a few snakes directed me to a website that sells, for reptiles, among other things (per descriptions):

Bee pollen: "is one of natures most complete protein rich foods that is high in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. It helps to enhance immune system functions as well as overall health maintenance."

Spirulina: "It is a great source of protein and is rich in B vitamins and Beta Carotene."

NutriBAC: "A probiotic formulated specifically for reptiles. Stimulates appetite by replenishing beneficial intestinal microflora after relocation stress, poor diet, or antibiotic treatment."

On and on and on. I know there are mainstream vitamin supplements out there that everyone says are unnecessary for snakes but not harmful (unless they are - are they?!) but this stuff seems awfully... specific. I mean, what would even happen if you gave a snake bee pollen? Should I worry about her snakes? Should I be pollinating my snake?!

I have a little takeout container of mice in the freezer. They do not stimulate appetite with microflora but my snake doesn't seem to know that. Am I a bad snake mom? Is she a bad snake mom? Does it even make a difference?
