    Exclamation Help needed

    Hello,

I am a first time ball python owner and I got Kurapika about 4 months ago and he is an albino under 2 feet. We don't know the gender or his age, but he has never rejected a meal. The previous owner had him eating frozen/thawed so I have fed him the same.

He's usually pretty active at night, but after this previous shed I very rarely see him moving about in his tank and he isn't as adventurous when we handle him. The shed really surprised me, so the humidity was only at the average at 50% but he shed in one piece. There was some holes in the middle of the shedded skin, but nothing still on him.

There are some darker patches on his sides. The scales aren't raised or red, and he doesn't react when touched. Can anyone explain what they are and how I would go about helping him? The exotic vet in my town has been out the past 3 days so I haven't been able to take him in.
