spreading water spots on eggs, what to do?

Yeah those "water spots" are eggs going bad.
4 of 5 is really high loss.
I noticed you have evidently been messing with the eggs a lot and moving them, Did you rotate them at all??
Did you make sure the same side stayed up?

I really wish people would stop telling others to keep the eggs out of the medium, if it is mixed remotely close to not muddy they will be fine.......

No, I didn't rotate the eggs. I was really extra careful with them.
