I haven’t posted in a while. I have had some painful hardships in the past and have been buried in work. Now I am coming up on retirement and that means I get to move back home to my property… in Florida. I have no reptiles of concern, but still a huge pain. I have 12 animals I need to move. I have been on the phone with Florida fish and wildlife a couple of times. I faxed the permit application to fish and wildlife today. I have ordered insulated boxes, bags and heat packs from SYR’s, they are on the way here. I plan to take the ARS rack down on the first trip so I can get it disinfected and set up. Then as long as the paperwork is all good, I will take the animals down on the second trip.

Does anyone have any experience with Florida fish and wildlife? Did the process go smoothly? Any advice for the move? Am I forgetting anything? I don’t know if I can take another loss if this goes badly. Any advice would be much appreciated.
