Hello! I'm terribly sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in, but I'm looking for advice on ball python husbandry !!
I think I owe an explanation of why I want a snake, and how I intend to pay for it. Feel free to skip through; it's not overly important !!
I am a digital artist, and a minor, to young to have a job, as art is my only way of income, which isn't a complaint. I recently went to a pet store and held a snake, for the first time and I have absolutely fallen in love with ball pythons !! I'm hoping to purchase a normal ball python, or a pied ball python, if possible, at an Idaho/Utah reptile expo!
But I am not going to be purchasing any snake until I have a proper setup, and have done enough research, as I do not want to inadvertently mistreat a reptile.
Here's the things I need advice for;
Tank sizes for a baby ball python; and how large they need to be in order to get them a larger terrarium.
I would also like to know how to use heat tape/heat cables/undertank heaters and how to keep my snake from overheating.
I would also like to know how to create a feeding schedule, and what not to do!
thank you all very much for your help, and again I apologize if this is the wrong form !!
