I really need some help. I've searched all over and I can't find a definitive answer to my problem.
On Monday I ordered 50 frozen mice to be delivered on Tuesday. But after a series of unfortunate events the mice only got dispatched on Tuesday afternoon about 6pm. for delivery on Wednesday.... Now due to more unforeseen events involving bad weather and the delivery truck being involved in a crash the mice will now be here between 5.30pm and 6.30pm today, Thursday.. Which is in about 6 hours from the time of posting this.
The store have said the mice are packed in insulation and have been packed with ice packs but I doubt it would have survived the 48 hours its been in the back of a truck. Now then is it safe to re-freeze them? Most of the info I can find relates to people not re-freezing them after they have been in a warm viv overnight. But these mice have been in a cold place in cold weather.
Any advice would be very much appreciated...
