While we were at Myrtle Beach we couldnt resist the temptation in the absence of a herp show, to swing by the nearest tourist trap (Alligator Adventure) to see what we could see. Other than the requisite acres of assorted crocs gators and caiman we hit the reptile house glad to be out of the heat and I managed to snap a few pics. The glass was all smeared with little sunblock handprints so not all of them came out

They had a few nice sizeable JCPs

A few bunches of GTP's

A pretty beefy gaboon

Some Desert Horned Vipers swimming in the sand

A few eyelash vipers

A South Carolina Pygmy Rattlesnake - looks like a deranged transvestite (IT PUTS THE LOTION IN THE BASKET!)

A snoozing Gila Monster.

Nice shot of a Leaftail Gecko - love these.

A chameleon having a rough day.

Un Tomato Frog - these guys look like little beanbags.

Amiable lil Dwarf Caiman

A nice pair of albino Gators.

And coming out to the parking lot I ran into this shiny little arachnid I have yet to ID.

There were plenty of others that didnt come out well including a 15' AfRock slung up in a tree - unfortunately a full 1/3 of the exhibits had no identifying plaques for casual observers. All in all though I see much better pics of more well cared for herps from you guys here!
