So, I ordered some faux rock ledges that are magnetic, and they finally came in. The bigger model was made to double as a planter, but the corn snake lost no time adopting it as his preferred RHP basking perch, leaving no room for a potted plant. Today was his feed day, and there he was up high, and struck his mouse mid air.
Reminded me of the bird eating island boas, and the big carpet (?) someone here posted pics of feeding from a ceiling mounted hide.
