    I agree it does not look like a super pastel, I also agree that it looks an AWFUL LOT like an enchi pastel ... HOWEVER, it really needs to be taken up with the breeder in order to figure it out. Do you know what the cross was that produced this snake? How many males and what genes had been paired to the female that produced your snake? Did you order online and have it shipped or did you pick it up in person? There is a chance it could have been a dual sired clutch and the breeder was overlooking that possibility .... As far as your perception of pastels losing their brightness and browning out to ugliness .... there are plenty of pastels that maintain a vibrant bright color well into adulthood. I have a pastel female that is 1400g that is still super bright and beautiful with minimal brown
