Me too. The Seller said he is already 288 grams so he is holding his color well so far.

Although I don't own one my husband is a big fan of the pieds. He said he likes yours a lot. Can't wait to see more photos when you get him.

Absolutely! I've even seen hets and non-hets coming from the same male but different females where one was Hypo, and just the presence of the gene seems to influence the look.

Just looking at the pictures again - he seems to think he has a bit more than Ghost and Pied in there, going by the + sign on his back! Love the evenly spaced markings. The boy I'll be getting is more of a 'half and half'.

LOL. I don't know about the plus, but I am going to have to give some serious thought about the first season he is ready and what direction I want to go. I look forward to seeing pictures of yours.

Just a couple of days ago I was thinking of getting a Pastel Pied/Killer Pied if I don't hatch one this year (have had locks from Pastel het. Pied X Pastel het. Pied) and breed that to my Orange Ghost female to make double het's

Thanks. Like I said, I had spent a lot of time looking at Pieds before I finally saw this one and pulled the trigger. I know we get very anxious to produce something and this hobby is a waiting game regardless. However, I'd rather wait years and over pay to get that one right animal.
