    I made a thing!

I've been messing around in Photoshop, and decided to practice with one of my favorite subjects. The snake's outline was built from "scraps" (a combination of photo references pieced together for the position I wanted), and painted by "hand"/mouse. I used a snakeskin brush for a bit of texture, but I'm not totally sold on it. Eventually I'd like to get into patterned BPs, but this first one was intended to concentrate on form and lighting techniques, rather than color.

I had wanted to do an art nouveau sort of thing, but it will take forever to pull together a background, so I whipped something up with some watercolor brushes.
