Overheating is the cause of neurological issues, while being too cool is a welcome mat for RIs and so on. I've never heard of neurological difficulties from lack of heat.
But I agree with everyone else. The snake sounds a little freaked out…which (lucky for you) is much easier to deal with then neurological dysfunction.
