This little girl has only eaten f/t mice since I got her. She's not interested in rats. Tonight I warmed her up a mouse and a rat, and when she wouldn't come out of her hide to snag the rat, I lured her out with the mouse instead. I switched back to the rat hoping since she was now investigating the smell, she'd go for the rat, but she wasn't falling for it. So, I put the f/t mouse back in her cage, but zombie'd the f/t rat right next to it, hoping she'd mix up the smells and go for the rat. After some suspicious searching, she did eventually grab the rat and I was able to remove the mouse while she was eating the rat.Just a little trick, I hope she goes right for the rat next time!
Fresh shed this morning. I need to hold her more so she stops being so shy.
