Not too long ago I caught Elenore hard at work doing an excavation and renovation job. The substrate consists of about an inch of coconut earth underneath an inch of Cypress.
Obviously she could give two flips that I was right there taking pics.
About 3 months ago she was in a tank with 3 inches of Aspen, and she loved burrowing and hiding. I guess she way getting the lay of the land in the new enclosure literally.And very frustrated that she could not burrow in her current enclosure.
She has since plowed up another area as well. It looks hogs that have destroyed a pasture.
