Well the name was obvious really, I come from the UK and we are the home of Monty Python and the Flying Circus, so Monty was just right. I cant be accused of rushing into thisI have spent a good amount of time taking advice from all of you vastly more experienced keepers, I have read books, watched videos and spent hours researching snakes. My thoughts were I was going to buy from a dealer but one particular Petco changed my thoughts. I have 6 Petco's in my local area, but this one in particular just seemed to care. I had my eye on this snake for a while now, I had handled it, seen it feeding and its temperament was just awesome. I went to the store today not knowing if he/she would still be there, but (we are going to assume a he) was. There was also 25% - I got 6 frozen mice and the total cost was $123. After 1 hour exploring, Monty is curled up in his middle hide at the moment. I'm not going to touch him for a few days so he can settle in!
