Ok 3rd set of twins in a week. I will start off with that because it will quickly loose any wow factor it has with the rest of the details of the clutch. We just came home from vending the Columbia, SC repticon and one of the clutches we were very excited to see what hatched out while we were gone was a female Jolliff Axanthic which was bred to a Super Mojave GHI Het OG which was produced by Brock Wagner and I will assume not het Jolliff Axanthic.....A male CinnamonMojavePastelSpider 50% pos het Albino male I produced as well as a MotaCinnamonMojavePastelSpider I also produced neither of which had any axanthic in its lineage. When we got home I was shocked to see axanthics in the box and 2 of which were dead. I did not know what to be more shocked about but then once I got looking there were 7 snakes in 6 eggs and ALL were axanthics and ALL were just plain normal axanthics. If the 4 or 5 gene boy was het axanthic and I did not know it, really what would be the odds to not only hit all visuals but also miss any other codom genes. The super mojave ghi would have made all mojo and mojo ghis so that's out of the question. I have not bred her with anything axanthic or het axanthic in 5 years so def not retained sperm. First thing that pops into my mind then is parthenogenesis so I get sexing them and of course all girls. I even sexed the 2 that had came out the egg and died and they were fm as well. 4 years in a row I have tried making a very nice combo het axanthic male and struck out but the first time I am not sure if I should be let down or not missing out on the boy I was looking to produce!!!!
