How to tell when an albino is going into shed?

Just a quick jump-in from me one more time: If you've only had him for a week and you've handled him 2-3 times, I'd say thats way too much. He needs time to settle in and get acclimated, so if you handle him, that's gonna stress him out and probably cause the flightiness! I don't think it really has much to do with shedding. Then again, I could be completely wrong, but that's my guess!

Thanks for adding more info! I guess more specifically, the first time was just when I opened the shipment box last Tuesday to put him into his tub. LOL. The 2nd time was just 3 days ago, and the 3rd time yesterday. I don't handle for long- 10 minutes the last two times. I'm going to assume the flightiness is the shed though, because I checked him out again and... decided that scales ARE more light/murkier than when I got him last week. And so are his eyes, based on the photo I took when he was first shipped to me. And that some of his scales stick up and bend when he folds...

When my albino goes into shed, his eyes don't go blue. Since they're red, they just go milky and cloudy. Never blue. His body becomes dull and he has a pinkish underbelly, but I also notice a bit of pink in other places, namely his neck when it stretches.

I will have to get pics of him in shed next time so I can just post pics on these threads XD

The first time he went into shed, I had no idea. He was also my first bp, but I had suspicions because of the milky eyes.
