Question Any python owners living in Cambridge,MA?

I'm currently attending high school. And I would love to acquire my first ball python. But before I get one, I need answers to some difficulties that will eventually arise. Since I will be graduating in a few years and then off to college, I know for a fact that no one will take care of my rep for me and I don't want to part way with it. I'm looking forward to enroll in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I don't know if I can live in the dorms with my python but that's a small chance. I've looked into it and the info I got is they only allow cats.
I was thinking of getting my own apartment close to the University. But finding a reptile friendly residence is going to be VERY difficult.
So if anyone can help, are there anyone who live near cambridge or just 30-40(or closer) minutes away and own snakes in an apartment or a place that I can rent at a fair cost that would be an option for me to look at?
If you have any other information that helps is fine too!

I want to answer these questions now because I know pythons are life long companions and I don't want to part my pets and have no one taking care of them just because I will be off to college.

    Thank You so Much!
