    Weight gain question...

I got my ball pythons on Easter from an owner that had them caged together (male and female). She was feeding them small mice which I figured were way to small and on my post in here I was told they should be eating small rats so I upped them to those that day (their first feed day with me). Their weights were: Bella 500g and Jake 535g. They pooped the day of their next feed day so I weighed and fed them again. Their weights were Bella 558g and Jake 583g. Today was feed day and they had pooped so I weighed them...Bella was 637g which shocked me and Jake was 598g.

they eat weekly which is what I did with my first ball years ago but I never weighed him since I was young. Are they gaining ok? Gaining way to fast? Should I stay on the feed schedule or cut back some?

I had only planned on one snake but I knew they weren't being treated well so I got them both. I just want to make sure they are gaining well and not being over fed.
