I've been pairing my black pastel girls p/h pied, liesen line to my black pastel het pied male Ian G line (I believe) for the past few months. One is around 2000+ grams and the other is around 1700 + grams. I haven't noticed an ovulation nor "glow" between the two. Both females are still on feed, last shed was March 14th and 16th. I have seen them both bowl wrap and seek the cooler side of the tub which they've both stopped and now are seeking the warmer side. The male has also stopped locking with them and isn't showing any interest in either of them anymore. I "think" I've felt small water balloon like masses in both females (3-7) but this is my first year breeding and I have no idea if I'm doing it right or not. I've done the cloth way by checking, letting them slide back into the tub while I palpate them. I'm also not really seeing the behavior like I've read, like building, tail suck, "glowing" or laying inverted. Both girls are not dipping themselves in fact they keep moving their water bowls over to the hot spot which is making the humidity really high, I keep moving it back but its like a back and forth game with them and I'm losing lol...
But given the information above is it likely they wont go this year? If not its fine atleast I know they both will be well over 2000grams next breeding season. They eat like pigs, one of them always expects more every feeding to the point shes shooting out of the tub more then halfway just to eat. These two girls are half sisters same father (black pastel 100% het pied) different mothers 100% het pied but out of their siblings from both clutches there was black pastel pieds/pieds in both.
