Hi all this is the update too:
http://www.ball-pythons.net/PNphpBB2...ic-t-3374.html
I was unable to elaborate at the time of the origianl posting due to certain circumstanaces.
Sadly this animal was dropped off at the zoo in a large garbage can, she was found and isolated well. She recieved wonderfull vetrinary care and continued to be quarenteened once here.
Her situation was then, and after an investigation by the authorities, is sadly still unknown.
We do know that she is a bit over weight, and has some scarring probably due to rabbit bites.
Here are a few pics:
And here she is next to my husband:
She sadly will not be used for educational shows, at least not anytime soon. She is very quick to strike at us. *** Please understand that this is only a defense mechanism***
So she is seemingly doing better, her health is good and she is eating. Her temperment definatly explains the reason not all Burms are like puppy dogs of the large constrictors.
After today, I would rather wrestle an angry retic.
