There is no "monster mega-hybrid" but there are actually hybrids between African rock pythons and Burmese pythons. They're called cat-eaters. Physically, they're built just like typical rock pythons. Their pattern is a mix between the two. There is no hybrid vigor B.S. either; they get about the same size as their parents, if not maybe a wee smaller. Their temperament isn't much different either; maybe a bit snippy, maybe nice. Nothing too special about them overall though, aside from cool patterns. Cat eaters only exist in captivity though; none are found in the wild to date as the two species are said to be reluctant to breed with one another, and producing hybrids in captivity requires a bit of trickery.Originally Posted by pbyeerts
The funny part is that these hybrids had already been bred into existence before the stupid hybrid conspiracy theories, and a bit of research on these existing animals would disprove all these junk rumors.
