Hello! I'm a bit new to the forum so sorry if I may be posting in the wrong section So I have a relatively new male baby Kenyan Sand Boa, I bought him from a reptile expo about 3 months ago, however for about the last month he hasn't eaten every time I've offered him food about once a week so I'm becoming extremely worried. I have also noticed a small, white scab-like protrusion from his vent. I tried removing it since it looked like it was feces stuck in there and white liquid came out of it but the scab still remains there. Should I take him to the vet or are there any home treatments I can do to either remove the scab or encourage him to eat?

Btw his cage has ground walnut shells as the substrate, a hotspot of about 92F, and a cool spot of about 75F.

Thanks!
