Well .. today was vet day. I drove to Frederick this afternoon to see Dr. Adrienne Cardella, who i found at www.arav.org. It was a 1.5 hour trip each way, but well worth it in my opinion. Both Andy and Sprocket recieved a clean bill of health. Luckily, Andy had left me a nice fecal yesterday so i could take it with me. I kinda felt wierd showing up with snake poop . I had both of them sexed and found out that Sprocket is really a female, but Andy is actually a male. Dr. Cardella told me that whatever caused Homer's death probably wouldnt affect Andy and Sprocket since i had him quarantined, but without doing a necropsy on him she couldnt be sure what had killed him. I'm just glad that Andy and Sprocket are doing well and that both of them are correctly sexed now.
