Just wondering if any of you multiple snake keepers have a favorite snake... I'm thinking this thread could help out a handful of newbies that are looking for info on a good tempered snake.

For me, I currently own one BCI, one California Kingsnake, and 4 Royal Pythons. My favorite is definitely one of my ball pythons, my female Peanut. Not so much for her looks, even though she is one gorgeous ball python, but her temperment is what keeps me interested. She's the only snake I have that displays any form of personality in my opinion. Always happy to be handled. It's almost as if she realizes she's lucky to have an owner that cares about her. When she was still new to me, she displayed every normal ball python behavior... from hissing, to "balling" up and hiding... Now it's actually odd to see her in a hide. She loves to be out in the open, as if she knows she's being closely admired .
