BP bit down on hemostat hard!

Worried about possible injury, fairly young BP bit down on my hemostat really hard and I couldn't remove it initially. I tried gently wiggling it free of its grip and swear I felt it scrape a fang or something, which terrified me. So I let it go and gave him a little squirt of water in the face to make him release it. Afterwards his mouth seemed slightly ajar, and he gave me a seriously accusing look, probably due to the water. His jaw seems to look more normal now, so maybe he just straightened himself out.

Anyway I can't tell if his jaw/fangs might have been messed up at all. He seems to still be trying to eat the f/t rat that was in there, so I don't wanna get too close and distract him.

Pretty safe to say that if he eats it he's OK and if he is unable he may have an injury?

Very freaked out, this snake is definitely not my cheapest.
